Well, we started off our week with the normal stuff- cleaning house, doing laundry, etc. Even though it is only Tuesday, things are already going wacky. Got a text late last night that my sister, Belinda, was going to be having surgery. On what!? I was in the dark. Finally got a call from her today with the whole story.
Now, just to lay some groundwork, I don't believe in curses but I so think our family is genetically unlucky. For example, if there is only one side effect to a medication, that is the one we will get and it will be bad. I'm talking swelling, vomiting, the whole nine yards. So it really didn't surprise me that all Belinda did was jump off a one step ledge and now she is having to have surgery on her foot because she broke her bone beneath her pinky toe. They are putting screws and possibly wire in her foot now. Only can this happen to a former Kulig!
So, please send prayers towards my little sister. She is very nervous about the surgery and will also be off her feet for 6 weeks.

Starting Over
Okay. Here we go again! Now that my life is slowing down a little, I decided I would try this blog thingy once again. I looked over the very sparse amount of pictures I had on here and was amazed at how much the girls had grown, how much I had gained, and how much had gone on in our lives while I blinked and turned around. As always, I once again promised to slow down and smell the roses but I am sure I will have a thorn up my nose, dirt all over my hands, and ants in my pants very soon. Stay posted!
